What is it?
Micro Physiotherapy, also known as Micro Kinesiology is a subtle manual technique developed in France in the 80’s that, through small touches in certain areas of the body, allows detecting and treating various types of pathology. In the micro physiotherapy system there are specific body maps (similar to the meridians of Oriental Medicine) and specific, gentle hand gestures that help identify the primary cause of a disease or dysfunction. This inturn allows for better treatment to restore balance and maintain health.
How it’s done
Through gentle, deliberate touch, the body is reminded of unhealed injuries. This reminder allows the self-healing process to begin. This subtle approach reaches long-forgotten inflammation and injury with lasting success. There is no danger or contraindications and the patients remain fully dressed during treatments, although loose fitting clothing is recommended.

What happens after the session?
The self-healing work that the body develops after the session can cause some tiredness for one or two days, so it is suggested that the patient rests after the session and not perform unnecessary physical exertion.
To reduce tiredness and aid the process, it is advisable to drink 1.5 – 2 liters of water per day in the days following the session to flush the body of toxins.
How long does it take?
Sessions normally lasts 45-60 minutes, with significant improvement usually noticeable after the first session. However, in some cases, two or three more sessions may be required for better results.
